Wedding Party

Olivia Chace,

the maid of honor, is the bride’s oldest and closest friend. The two have been companions since they were ten years old, when they would spend their recess talking about their favorite books. Audrey and Olivia love seeing live music together as well as exchanging life updates over coffee and a shared pastry. Olivia is someone you can always talk to, she is compassionate, creative, and honest, and we are lucky to have her in our life.

Blair Basset,

bridesmaid, is a highschool friend of the groom, who has since become very close to Audrey after the couple started dating. Blair, Audrey, Cole, and Michael (Blair’s fiance) love to see live music together and then get Blair and Cole’s favorite fast food, Taco Bell, after. Blair is sweet, caring, and a joy to be around, and we are so excited to have her in our wedding as well as to celebrate her marriage next year.

Paige Dodd,

bridesmaid, is a dear friend of the bride. The two played sports together in high school but became close friends after bonding over their shared love of Korean pop icons, BTS, who they will see together in August 2026. Paige is radiant, kind, and strong; her smile and laugh illuminates any space she is in. Paige, we are so blessed to have you in our lives!

Katherine Schlagel,

bridesmaid, has been Cole’s closest friend ever since they ran against each other for Latin club president but she has since been like family to both the bride and the groom. Katherine is the life of any party, She is hard working, confident, and loyal; and we treasure her.

Katie Mueller,

best woman, has been a ‘built-in friend’ for Cole since birth. Katie is creative, sharp, caring, and very good at web development (she built this website). She also personally knocked his first (not very loose) tooth out with a princess heel. Besides her aforementioned knack for dentistry, she has a gift for all things art and history. As kids, Cole and Katie bonded over arts and crafts projects; now Katie is enrolled in a metalsmithing program at KU and Cole makes his own furniture, and the pair still exchange ideas and techniques - perhaps some things never change.

Cooper Mueller,

best man, wasn’t always friendly with Cole. When they were young, the two siblings often butted heads due their very individual, very big personalities. As Cole and Cooper grew up, they also grew together and the pair figured out that their two big heads actually had a lot in common; and now they are able to understand and joke with each other in a way that only siblings ever could.

Michael Hoopes,

groomsman (and the only reason Cole passed European History in high school), always got along with Cole and was considered a good friend, but didn't become especially close until after graduating. Over the years, they bonded over their shared interest in computers as well as particularly monotonous video games. Michael is engaged to bridesmaid Blair Basset and we are so lucky to have such close friends in the same boat with us on this journey

Bailey Hearting,

groomswoman, first met the groom when she was a few days old,  when Cole held her for the first time. Since then he's watched her grow from a sweet toddler to a voracious young reader and emphatic eyeroller (at least, whenever Cole says something dumb). The bride and groom both can't wait to see who and what she grows to become.
